  We have just had lunch there. The meal was first class and the staff and management were genuinely friendly. An excellent venue.

  Had a late Sunday lunch here yesterday. Phoned earlier in the afternoon to ask if it was wise to booked and my details were taken for a table at 17.30. On arrival there seemed to be no record of the booking, fortunately we were found a table with no difficulty. Both had the roast beef and no complaints there, nice meat well cooked. Puddings were also nice, although they did take an age to arrive (20 minutes or so). Service was friendly if a little random, had to ask three different people before the bill finally appeared. Still, wouldn't let any of those niggles put me off going again.

  Absolutely massive portions, amazing burgers, friendly dogs always about, friendly people working there. This place is well worth a visit if you are anywhere nearby!
